DSP-DA Spinoff -- Soft.Networks'
spins off a new subsidiary company, DSP Design Automation, LLC, focusing on advanced DSP software EDA & compilation tools for DSP applications in wireless, telecom, and networking markets.
DSP-DA, unlike processor-specific offerings of proprietary software environments from DSP chip vendors, will develop, design and market advanced and efficient EDA tools for DSP code generation for most commercially available DSP processors and wireless SoC chipsets as an independent entity.
The benefits of code interoperability, seamless code migration and portability from one DSP to another, and high coding efficiencies (that compare well with manual coding) are offered through DSP-DA's SoftwareFirst(TM) and Common DSP Platform(TM) technologies.
DSP-DA is based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Soft.Networks' ROHC RFC 3095 Reference Implementations - RobustComm(TM) -- RFC 3095
describing Robust Header Compression technologies is expected to be an integral component of 3G and future wireless broadband infrastructure implementations (UMTS Release 4 and 5), and Soft.Networks is currently testing its reference implementations of this important IETF RFC 3095 standard.
Typical average compressed packet sizes for unidirectional modes are around 10bytes, and 9 bytes for bidirectional optimistic modes for typical BER (10e-3) and Delays (=10), representing savings in excess of 75% in bandwidth.
Customization of our RobustComm(TM) implementation to your lower layer platforms is also offered.
We invite enquiries for licensing and interoperability testing partnerships from wireless, telecom and networking vendors.
